2023 Sustainability Report
The Colombina Foundation, Compromiso Valle, and the Tuluá Chamber of Commerce join forces to support the development and growth of entrepreneurs in this municipality.
• These three organizations are launching a call for applications to award entrepreneurs with seed capital to help them continue growing.
• This is part of Big Brother Entrepreneurs, a program by Colombina created to support small businesses by transferring knowledge and providing them with tools for their development.

Colombina and Enertiva reaffirm their commitment to sustainability inaugurating their solar-energy project at their Escuintla plant
• Colombina's cookies and candy supplied to Central America, Mexico and the Dominican Republic markets are now manufactured with
cleaner more sustainable energy.
• With this step, this plant covers 20% of its energy consumption and reduces its CO2 emissions by 750 tons/year.
• The facility covers an area of 8,000 m2 and will produce 1,860,000kWH/year.

Colombina strives be one of the world’s most sustainable food companies
For the 8th year in a row, S&P's 2023 Corporate Sustainability Assessment, CSA, has named Colombina the 7th Best Food Company in Sustainable Practices.
The company also announced today that 100% of its electrical energy In Colombia is renewable.

Colombina, for the eighth consecutive year, is in the top 10 of the most sustainable food companies in the world.
- The company ranked seventh among the 395 companies in the food sector measured in the S&P Global Corporate Assessment, which made it worthy of being part of its Sustainability Yearbook 2024.
- Colombina also obtained a perfect score in the recertification conducted by the Equipares Equity Management System, being the only one in the country with this score.

• The Colombina Sauces and Preserves plant in Tuluá received the Certification of the Zero Waste System in the GOLD Category, awarded by ICONTEC and the Zero Waste Corporation Colombia with a classification of 95.5 out of 100. • With this certification, Colombina continues to implement a Management System that is part of its sustainability strategy, this is done as a contribution to the efficient management of solid waste and the strengthening of circular economy strategies.
