For the 8th year in a row, S&P's 2023 Corporate Sustainability Assessment, CSA, has named Colombina the 7th Best Food Company in Sustainable Practices. This achievement reflects the company's constant commitment to generating value for its stakeholders - effecting a positive impact on the communities it operates in.
The highlights are:
-
- 61% of its food product-line is free of artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.
-
- 100% of its electrical energy in Colombia comes from renewable sources.

We are also very proud of being awarded for the second time, the Equipares Gold Seal recertification, making us the first company to obtain 100% compliance with the seal’s requirements in the history of this Colombian seal,” stated César Caicedo, president of the company.
In 2023, Colombina allocated $6.58 billion Colombian pesos in social initiatives, and through its Colombina Foundation, impacted over 10,300 people with its education, culture, sports and recreation programs. Furthermore, Colombina’s commitment to the national business fabric is evidenced by the fact that 92% of Colombina's suppliers are local or national, contributing significantly to the nation’s economic development.
Colombina's financial strength is reflected in its recent Fitch Rating outlook upgrade from “stable” to “positive”: an expectation of continued strengthening in Colombina's operational generation, supported by the strength of its brand, its geographical and portfolio diversification. These factors have consolidated the company's competitive position and have contributed to mitigating the impacts of adverse economic cycles.
