Colombina’s iconic Bon Bon Bum bubble-gum filled lollipop turns 50 and is now sold in Walmart stores across the USA

Bon Bon Bum is currently exported to nearly 80 countries and its presence in Walmart stores across the USA is forecast to bump up Bon Bon Bum sales by 4-5% within two years.


The Colombina Business Group announced that the lollipop at the heart of the Colombian nation is now being sold in 47 of the 50 states in the USA at one of that nation’s retail titans, Walmart.

Bon Bon Bum had been in Florida catering to Colombians in that state, but now, after being product-coded by Walmart, the charming strawberry lollipop has leap-frogged into nearly the entire United States.

The Walmart news broke just as Bon Bon Bum turned 50. The top-of-heart old-style red strawberry lollipop is endearing and enduring. But ever the innovator, Colombina has gone onto make Bon Bon Bum in a variety of evocative tropical Colombian fruit flavors, such as lulo, passion fruit, watermelon, pineapple, tangerine and even mango.
